I had so many fears floating around in my head and was not coping well. My spiritual director told me about Saint Jane Frances de Chantal who experienced a lot of hardship in her life. She lost her husband when he was murdered and she was left with her six children. She created a religious order for women who were not accepted in other communities. She practiced a prayerful meditation every morning where she envisioned herself going out into the ocean and floating on her back. She would take each worry, fear, anxiety like a buoy and let it go into the vast water one by one.
