In the chronicles of the Sisters' early history, an 1882 entry reads, “The Sisters made their own candles and soap.” Many years ago the sisters made soap because they needed it. In recent years the sisters have re-discovered the value and joy of hand-made fragrance soap, using modern techniques but with the same careful attention to detail that they use in all their hand-made items of pottery, weaving, and sewing that they have crafted for years. • Candle: Palm wax and fragrance.

• Lip balm: Almond, avocado and coconut oils, beeswax, cocoa and mango butters, and flavoring.

• Soap: Fragrance and essential oils, shea and cocoa butters, olive, coconut, palm kernel, and almond and castor oils.

• Scrub: Glycerine, water, sucrose and/or dendritic salt, sodium cocyle, isethionate, sorbitol, propylene glycol, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate, stearic acid, sodium chloride, diazolidinly urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, tetrasodium EDTA, and fragrance.

• Lotion: Shea butter, water, jojoba oil, avocado oil, grape seed oil, glycerin, cocoa butter, citric acid, stearic acid, EWax, optiphen, phenoxyethanol, and caprylyl glycol.
