Meet the “Soap Sister!”
Sr. Cathleen Timberlake has been making soap for nineteen years. She entered the Benedictine Sisters in 1967, and as her soap has grown in popularity, she’s become known as the “Soap Sister.” In accordance with her Benedictine spirituality, her work is a prayer—and her prayer’s intention is for all who will use her soap!
Every bar of Monastery Scents soap is made with all natural ingredients, a little holy water, and a prayer. Each bar is a labor of love with a luxurious fragrance that truly lifts your heart to the Lord. We’re also working with Monastery Scents to offer candles, lip balm, lotion, and more, all made with that same prayerful disposition and eye for quality!
