Since 1995, Franciscan Peacemakers has ministered on the streets of Milwaukee to women engaging in prostitution because of trauma, human sex trafficking, or drug addiction. Their longevity comes from the trusting relationships they build with the women they serve. Besides hospitality and outreach, they also offer a housing and recovery program and an initiative in which survivors make and sell bath and body products for a living wage.
