St. Bernard of Clairvaux encouraged us to embrace the Advent Season leading up to Christmas by meditating upon three “comings of Christ”: not only Christ’s coming as a man 2,000 years ago, but also his coming to us at the end of our life and his desire to come into our hearts each day.
